FrameGrab ("Service", "we", "us") is operated by Technician Films. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Our Privacy Principles
FrameGrab is designed to be a privacy-first service:
- We do not require accounts. No email, no password, no profile.
- We do not store your videos. Uploaded files are deleted immediately after your ZIP download completes.
- We do not view, analyze, or train on your content. Processing is fully automated.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
2. What We Collect

3. How We Use Your Data
- To process your video and deliver the ZIP file.
- To verify your payment was completed.
- To prevent abuse (e.g., one-time-use enforcement of paid sessions).
- To respond to support requests you send us.
We do not use your video content for training AI, marketing, advertising, analytics, or any other purpose beyond extracting your requested still frames.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on these vetted third-party services to operate:
- Stripe (Stripe Privacy Policy) — handles all payment processing. We never see your card details.
- Railway (Railway Privacy) — hosts the application.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare Privacy) — DDoS protection and network infrastructure.
- Upstash (Upstash Privacy) — short-term session storage (Redis).
These providers may process technical data (like IP addresses) as necessary to deliver the Service.
5. Cookies and Tracking
FrameGrab does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics that profile you across the web. The Service may use a minimal session cookie set by your browser for technical operation, but this is not used for tracking.
6. Children's Privacy
FrameGrab is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
7. Data Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures:
- All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).
- File uploads are processed in isolated jobs and deleted immediately after delivery.
- Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI-compliant).
- No long-term storage of user-uploaded content.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold. Because we retain so little data and delete uploaded content immediately, there's typically nothing for us to provide or delete. To make a request, email TechnicianFilms@gmail.com.
9. International Users
FrameGrab is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you consent to your data being processed in the US, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
