Terms of Service

Welcome to FrameGrab ("Service", "we", "us"), a service operated by Technician Films. By using FrameGrab at framegrab.net or any related URL, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

FrameGrab is a pay-per-use web service that extracts still frames from uploaded video files and delivers them as a ZIP archive. The Service is provided on a one-time, per-transaction basis. No account is required.

2. Payment

You agree to pay the stated price for each use of the Service. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment card details. Prices are listed in US Dollars and may change without notice for future transactions.

3. Refund Policy

• Automatic refunds: If processing fails on our end due to a technical error and you do not receive a usable ZIP file, your session is automatically restored. You may upload again at no additional cost.
• Manual refunds: If you experience a failure that is not automatically restored, contact TechnicianFilms@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction. We will review the situation and issue a refund at our discretion.
• No refunds for: Successfully delivered ZIP files, dissatisfaction with extracted frame quality, unsupported file formats (please review supported formats before purchasing), or user error.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to the video files you upload and the still frames extracted from them. You grant us a temporary, limited license to process your video for the sole purpose of providing the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have proper authorization to upload and process the video file.
• The content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• The content does not contain illegal material, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or content that violates any applicable law.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. We reserve the right to refuse processing of any file at our discretion.

5. File Handling and Deletion

We delete your uploaded video file and the extracted frames from our servers immediately after your ZIP download completes, or within 2 hours if the download is abandoned. We do not retain, view, or analyze your content. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not own or have rights to.
• Attempt to bypass payment, abuse the Service, or interfere with its operation.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or republish the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or meet your specific needs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Technician Films, its operators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Technician Films from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Technician Films operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
